The Secret Lives of Boys

There is no question boys share a secret language for all things gross, obscure, and mechanically bizarre. These two can spend hours reading books with titles most suitable as a headline banner for Barnum & Bailey. Most times I am not sure who is more excited to report they have seen, discovered, or read about something as amazing as a two headed snake. My hope for our little Monkey is he always remember the pure thrill of discovery, inspiring him to leading a life of true exploration. I can only image the overwhelming desire and curiosity to see what lies on the other side; whether rock or mountain; is how it started for all those who continue to inspire us.

A Future Nobel Laureate

Don’t let the choice of clothing attire fool you, Bunny is hard at work creating her first great masterpiece. Her ability to amuse us with her whimsical singing and dancing is endless. Recently she has begun to write small nonsensical vignettes’ describing the merry comings and goings of her imaginary friends. Today they were all in Paris. How lucky could they be?

Giddy Up

I have lost track of how many times my mother has taken joy in reminding me how much Bunny is truly her mother’s daughter. Her stubborn nature and sure determination to do things her way, on her time, could force even the mightiest of world leaders to their knees. And while it is true I do have a rebellious streak in me, it is actually Bunny's love for horses which seals the deal.

Happy Birthday Sofia!

When asked what she would like for her birthday, she whole heartedly replied, "A fish." Well of coarse, how silly of me. Happy Birthday, to the only one I know who loves being in the water more than I.

The Kids Are All Right

How lucky I am to have such loving, healthy, happy children. When their big brother stops by, it is nothing but deep belly laughs, joyful screaming, and antics galore.
